Goodbye, India

I've been in India, hence y'know, lack of anything being written here (I know, I know; always with the excuses). Mumford and Sons' album, Sigh No More (buy here), has been shortlisted for the Mercury Prize this year which I guess is cool, though - much as I like the band - I'm not sure I'd name it as one of my favourite albums of the year thus far. Anyway my tenuous link here is that they went to India and did some recording with Laura Marling (whose lovely second album, 'I Speak Because I Can', was also nominated) and Rajasthani folk collective, the Dharohar Project (you can buy the EP here), and they recently released their videos from the tour.
Lovely. I miss India.
